Job Duties
- 3+ years' experience with data governance processes and tools (e.g. Collibra, Alation, Ataccama, Informatica)
- Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data protection management practices
- Build Data Governance models, including defining how various data asset type relate and defining how the model fits in a Data Governance tool
- Configure Data Governance platform based on Business requirements and specifications
- Define workflow, security and integration requirements
- Implement operating model, workflow BPMN development, and integrate disparate enterprise applications or systems
- Has experience in configuring automated metadata ingestion from sources such as Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
- Setup people and processes including relevant roles, responsibilities and controls, data ownership, workflows and common processes
- Experience with AWS or Azure data storage and management technologies such as S3 and ADLS
- Participate in POC evaluations of technologies and tools
- Experience in architecting data platforms, triangulating data lineage, data operating models, data collection, dataflow management, master data management, data quality, and security
- Experienced in Automating Data Governance processes, either by using workflows or by developing integrations with other tools.
Basic Qualifications
- College or university degree required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of customer focus and strong communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and conceptualization skills
Top Candidates Will Be
- Will have knowledge in more than one Data Governance tool
- Subject matter expert in data warehousing platforms, data marts and ETL tools as a foundation to deliver analytics and insights to the business.
- Knowledge of Snowflake is preferred.
