Role Description
In this role you will partner with your DevOps peers – DevOps Release Managers and DevOps Platform Engineers – to deliver a fully automated end-to-end release management process.
Role Responsibility
- Work in tandem with our Cloud Architecture team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions.
- Define and document best practices and strategies regarding cloud infrastructure maintenance.
- Ensure application performance, uptime and scale, by implementing highly available and dynamic cloud solutions.
- Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines
- Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build and deploy GCP, Azure and AWS applications to support the business.
- Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems and implement preventive measures.
- Implement and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure in various cloud providers.
- Implement and maintain Google Cloud VMware Engine.
- Assist Cloud migration teams to support and troubleshoot issues that may arise during migration.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Should have 5+ years of experience in any Cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP) and other cloud solutions with infra setup, maintenance, support, enhancement, operations, coding & developer skillsets.
- 2+ years of experience with supporting and maintaining a Kubernetes infrastructure in at least one cloud provider (Azure, AWS or GCP).
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information technology or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to work with multiple teams to implement large scale projects.
- Experience in several of the following areas: Cloud Networking, VMware HCX, Linux, Microsoft Windows, Containers, cloud migration tools.
- Hands-on experience in On-Prem to Cloud migrations, landing zones creation, subscription, resource groups, policies, firewall setup, application load balance setup & advanced knowledge on operations as well as cloud networking methodologies.
- Hands-on industry work experience of design/build of DevOps CI/CD pipelines on the public cloud environments, preferably AWS and Azure Fluency in development tools like PowerShell, kusto queries and added advantage if knowledge on programming languages like (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Bash scripting, .NET, C#).
- Should have strong experience on automations using PowerShell, Python, .Net programming and coding tools. Good to have knowledge on RPA, AI/ML and Orchestration.
- Hands on expertise on Azure cloud, related to CI/CD, PowerShell, Kusto queries, cloud automation engineering, ARM templates, Azure backup and site recovery, VPC, Azure cloud networking, Load balancers, API management, Orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services for IAAS and PAAS products and features such as VPC, EC2, Containers, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, RDS, Route53, Cloud Formation templates, Cloud Watch, IAM, Elastic Bean Stalk, Cloud Trail, API Gateways is and added advantage.
- Kubernetes, Docker Swarm Experience with Service Mesh, Service Discovery, Routing tools and technologies
- Experienced in designing/implementing Virtual Private Cloud VPC environments including compute, storage, database, networking, security etc. in the AWS ecosystem with HA / DR strategies Extensive experience supporting and scaling production systems
- Experience in OS like Windows and Linux is a must.
- Experience in other cloud solutions like GCP, VDI environments is added advantage. Experience with application dependency mapping monitoring tools and practices. Experience with ticketing tools like SNOW, JIRA is a must.
- Excellent communication skills, understanding customer needs, negotiations skills.
Desired:
- Certified Azure engineer.
- Should have implemented many architectural designs and driven projects
- Exposure to API architecture and development
- Knowledge on tools like Mulesoft, API management, Redlock (Prisma), Epsagon, etc.
