Application Development Senior Analyst At VINGS Technologies, US
Application Development Senior Analyst (Cupertino, CA & unanticipated locations throughout the US) – Develop data pipelines and dashboards to provide detailed insights of Reverse Logistics to Finance, Sales stakeholders to understand the Return Ratio, Product Quality on different products and devices to shape their investment decisions. Perform data analysis design, implement, and maintain end to end data pipelines with various tools including Google Cloud Platform tools such as Google Big Query, Cloud Spanner, Cloud Data flow, Pentaho, Clarinet (Google Internal tool), Google Plx (Google Internal tool) schedulers, and Defect and bugs Tracking Tool. Review and analyze existing dataflow jobs and optimize performance. Ensure critical application availability and regular monitoring of jobs configured through DBMS scheduler, Tidal Enterprise Scheduler, AppDynamics. Prepare detailed Requirement Specs & Functional Documentation with associated use cases, PowerPoint presentations, and other documents to explain requirements to development, support teams, partners, and stakeholders. Ensure the security, scalability, reliability of business-critical systems which includes managing priorities, analysis of platform metrics and balancing demand in a rapidly changing environment. Perform feature validation of functionality, QA in test script creation and automation, and assist with end-user documentation. Work closely with upstream and downstream systems, other BSAs and QA testers throughout the entire data flow cycle. Support product rollouts and implementations as domain expert and/or primary business interface to partner domain experts. Work on multiple projects at a time, focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.
Required: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Must have 2 years of experience with Google Platform Technology (Google Big Query), SQL Scripting, Databases (Oracle & Teradata), Informatica or Pentaho ETL tool, and Data Visualization Tools (Tableau & Google Data Studio). Travel required to unanticipated locations throughout the US. Able to telecommute from anywhere within the US.
