Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. The Pipeline Integrity Project Manager's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead pipeline make ready, assessment, and rehabilitation projects with some of the most advanced industry technologies.
- Lead the partnership with pipeline integrity engineering to assist in defining project scope, design and proper repairs
- Collaborate with pipeline control, scheduling, commercial, corrosion control, and field operations while directing third party contractors and inspection personnel to safely execute pipeline integrity make ready, assessment and rehabilitation projects.
- Create cost estimates based on vendor supplied pricing and submit funding requests for appropriate approvals.
- Authorize work to be performed on behalf of the company by issuing work orders to third party contractors.
- Develop project cost tracking mechanisms and supply that cost information for monthly forecasting for review by executive management.
- Update project stakeholders through weekly or daily progress reports or notifications of achieving significant project milestones.
- Provide technical support during the review of IMP processes and procedures to maintain consistency in assessment and rehabilitation practices.
- Engage in industry events and regular discussions with third party vendors to stay current on the latest technology, repair methods and industry movements.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Pipeline Engineering/Operations or related field is preferred.
- Working knowledge of the various Federal and State pipeline regulations including Integrity Management regulations and industry standards.
- Technical knowledge and practical working experience in pipeline operations and maintenance, pig running, integrity assessment methods, and defect assessment and repair methods.
- Experience in pipeline integrity and an understanding of pipeline hydrostatic, In-Line Inspection testing and/or pipeline repair methods is preferred.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, possess strong organizational skills and demonstrate the ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel with ability to quickly learn new applications is required.
- Must be a self - starter and able to work both independently and with others in the organization.
- Must have the ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
